Opening Day 2013 is here at last. For baseball fans, Opening Day is a holiday. It’s cause for dressing down, taking off work early and cracking open that first beer much sooner than one probably should.

It’s the one day out of the season when every team sits in first place. It’s the one day out of the season when every team sends out their pitching ace. It’s the one day out of the season that every fan believes his squad can win the pennant chase.

And it is finally here. So start conjuring up those fake coughs. Start figuring out where to find the nearest TV or radio. And start letting those baseball butterflies grow.

Seeds All Day would like to help by sharing some Opening Day headlines from across the sports globe.
