2014 Spring Training Report Date Schedule

dbacksIt’s finally baseball time again! The Arizona Diamondbacks have broken ground on 2014 Spring Training. D-Backs pitchers and catchers reported to camp yesterday and had their first official workout today. The Los Angeles Dodgers will report on Saturday. If you’re thinking it seems a little early for Spring Training, well you’d be right. The Diamondbacks and Dodgers are starting up ahead of time because they are slated to open the 2014 regular season with a game in Australia on March 22 – more than a week before anyone else. They need the extra time to make sure they are ready (interestingly, after that game these two teams will be returning to the U.S. to finish up Spring Training with the rest of the big league clubs before Opening Day).

The remaining teams’ pitchers and catchers heading to camp in about a week, but for more specificity, here is a schedule of all Spring Training reporting dates.
